Dr. Jeffrey Viscardi was one of the first partners to join Dr. White. He was a prolific cataract, cornea and refractive surgeon, and charismatic clinician. He was instrumental in ushering in a new era for White Eye Associates, making it what it is today.

He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and his medical degree from the State University of New York in Brooklyn. Dr. Viscardi was an intern at the Staten Island Hospital Department of Internal Medicine in New York, and completed his ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York in Brooklyn. He completed a fellowship in diseases of the cornea and anterior segment at the Ohio State University, followed by a fellowship in refractive surgery at the Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California in Irvine. He was previously the Chief for the Division of Ophthalmology of the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine.
