Dr. Charles Pophal, fellowship-trained cornea specialist, recently joined our practice. Before completing his fellowship at Wake Forest University, Dr. Pophal completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He also brings the unique experience he acquired while working for the World Health Organization in Switzerland.

When Dr. Pophal’s not in the office, he and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors with their two dogs. His love for the outdoors and sports made Greenville the perfect location for them. He is currently accepting new patients for cataract and cornea evaluations as well as other eye conditions
